RCS and Roto engines are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period 24 months from the original date of sale from RC Showcase, Inc.
RCS and Roto ignition units are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period 12 months from the original date of sale from RC Showcase, Inc.
ZDZ® engines are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of 42 months from the original date of sale from RC Showcase, Inc.
ZDZ® ignition units are warranted against defects in workmanship for a period 36 months from the original date of sale from RC Showcase, Inc.
We have a full compliment of parts and all necessary tools to repair the engines. Our goal is to repair the engine and get it back to you as fast as possible to minimize your aircraft downtime and get you back in the air as soon as possible!
General Policy - RC Showcase warrants its ZDZ® Modelmotor and RCS products from the date of purchase to the original purchaser only against defects in material or workmanship under normal use. This limited warranty is effective for the period defined at the time of purchase by RC Showcase. The warranty is fully transferable to new owners. Should the product fail or malfunction during the warranty period, upon submission of proof of purchase, RC Showcase, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the unit free of charge. Original invoice is the only acceptable proof of purchase and must be provided upon request. This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, use of unapproved mufflers, accident, disaster, misuse, abuse or unauthorized modifications/repair . Carburetor and ignition components are warranted for a period of one year.
Limitations - This limited warranty does not guarantee you uninterrupted service. Repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the purchaser. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose. RC Showcase shall in no way be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages of any kind including, without limitation, loss of revenue or profits, failure to realize savings or other benefits, loss of use, damage to equipment, and claims against the purchaser by any third party, even if RC Showcase has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
* Important Notice: Warranty Service is provided by ZDZ® dealers/distributors. The labor portion and time spent is provided "free" by RC Showcase. Of course we do get replacement parts from ZDZ® Modelmotor but we have to pay for the shipping. Because of this we will only provide complete, no charge, warranty repairs on ZDZ® or RCS engines that we have sold. If you have an engine purchased elsewhere that needs service we will repair it, but charge a modest fee for the labor time spent.
You must make every effort to confirm the failure or malfunction of the product by testing it in your equipment. Then contact the technical support staff of RC Showcase, Inc., 301-374-2197, to confirm the determination of failure or malfunction. At that time a RMA number may be issued for return. You may now visit our website and print out the Service Request Form, fill it out completely. At our option, a copy of the sales invoice may be required as well. Include these with your returned item.
Carefully pack the items to be returned to prevent any shipping damages. Be sure to insure the items for the full value. RC Showcase, Inc, is not responsible for items that have been further damaged or destroyed by improper packaging or lack of insurance when received for service.
