Hi Dany!

Thank you for the no charge shipping of the rib that I broke. It really shows that what I heard is true: You REALLY stand behind your product. I'm glad to hear that the kits are selling fast. Good news for you.

"The word is getting out that this kit is like nothing else ever produced"

Thanks again for the fast reply.

Dany,

The quality of the wood in this kit is definitely first rate. All parts you are use to getting dye crushed are laser cut except for some of the fuselage formers which must be cnc cut, (no burn marks on heavier plywood but very sharp, clean, edges). The factory work on the prelaminated fuselage sides are very clean and true. The only thing I saw after 4 ½ hours of inventory on all the parts was the hardwood N-struts were not aerodynamically shaped. The glass work on the cowl and wheel pants is nothing short of perfect. In general I would say the quality of this kit is one of, if not the best on the market today. The supplied jigs make it a snap to build straight and true wing panels. Frame up only took about 3 hours on the bottom set.

Having one of the first ten kits produced there were a few questions with the construction manual. Dany is VERY good about answering any questions you may have either by email or phone and definitely knows this bird inside and out.

Hi Danny,

This kit is certainly well thought out, it will be a pleasure to get started on it. I really appreciate not having full size plans to struggle with, and the very clever method of fixturing for wing panel assembly.Everything arrived in perfect condition thanks to your super job of packing and component placement lin the boxes...

Thanks again.

Hello Dany,

I am happy to report that I am very pleased with this kit. The packaging was excellent, the instruction manual is complete and also suggests certain manufacturers for parts to use for the kit. I especially liked the construction of the landing gear and wheel pants. These items tend to take a beating on a model of this size but I feel I won't have any problems with this one. Because of the size and complexity of this kit I have chosen not to start building yet. I have gone through the manual and checked the contents of the kit. I need to finish a few other projects that I'm working on right now before getting totally involved in this one. I have been acquiring the other items I need except for the flying wires. I will decide on what I want to use when that time comes. My plans for the engine is the RCS 215 radial which I plan on ordering next month. I am installing a 40 oz. fuel tank and would also like to have smoke but am undecided at this point. The only thing I have planed differently is the use of 7" wheels instead of 6". Manly for ground clearance and the 6" seemed a little small in the wheel pants. I will keep you informed of my progress once I start construction.

Thank You,

Mark Gabel

Dany,

The Waco arrived today and all I can say is WOW! I have only opened the smaller of the two boxes (cowl, pants, assembly manuel, etc..) and I like what I see.

The assembly manuel is first class, I really like the spiral binding, it's well laid out and the print is nice and large. I can hardley wait to get started on it!- but I know it will be at least a month or so before I can- bummer...

Anyway, if first impressions mean anything at all- you have a definite "winner" of a Waco kit!

Dan:

I thought that I would drop you a line on the Waco. I was very impressed with the shear size of the model, the way it was packed and the completeness of the instruction manual. The model goes together very quickly for its size. The Laser cut parts just fall out of their trees, and the fit is great. I have had several people look at the progress of the kit and just can't get over the size. The model had some teething problems - maybe that's because I got one of the first production runs. The support of the manufacturer was simply outstanding - always there and always very helpful. I think when all is said and done, the Waco is an outstanding kit of a seldom modeled airplane.

Thanks Dan for all your help. Hope this helps you.
