Assembly properties:

  • All parts are laser-cut (see “Picture-Gallery” page)
  • New fuselage design based on our 40% version (see pictures below)
  • Pre-cut ¼” Lite-Ply top and bottom fit between both sides. You end up with a very strong “box structure" and the rest is cosmetics.
  • Impossible to build this fuselage crooked: Can be built in less than 6 hours.
  • All fuselage sides, top and bottom parts incorporate cavities in proper locations for easy insertion of side formers.
  • Stringers on this design are for aesthetic purposes only.
  • The stab panels are "plug-in type" for transport convenience. Proper stab incidence is factory set.
  • Stab mounted servos. Each elevator panel includes a laser-cut recess to encapsulate each servo.
  • Ample room and easy access for any radio gear installation, ignition system, fuel/smoke tanks.
  • “Plug-in” wing design for transport convenience.
  • All four wing panels and two cabanes are built over supplied jigs. Impossible to build them crooked.
  • All plug-in tubes are 6061-T6, 0.035” wall thickness.
  • All ribs are laser-cut for simplicity and accuracy.
  • Wood struts are factory cut to the proper angle for simple installation between the wing panels.
  • Cowling and wheel pants made with White gel-coat and hand laid using S-glass fabrics.
  • All critical attachment points are laser-marked or cut.
  • 113 page building manual with large fonts (downloadable from our main page for viewing) 7 main CAD drawings, building pictures, engine box templates for RCS 215 radial engine, explicit building sketches, full-scale alignment and shaping templates for critical area, 220 meg info CD, DVD movie/video of the actual plane flying with the RCS 215 radial, doing an aerobatic routine at “full throttle” AND landing.
Special Cabane Jig Included
With the Jig
Without the Jig
Most two-winged aircrafts have a top & bottom cabane. Top wing cabane alignment as always been a problem: Not anymore!

We supply a "Laser-Cut" Top Cabane Jig that eliminates any possible errors while building and ensures that the six factory- welded main steel struts are in perfect alignment. Don't be fooled: The Top Cabane does require a jig for perfect alignment, be it a Waco or anything else.

Using this jig, an innovation of AMR, top cabane alignment is as simple as 1-2-3. No one on this planet makes it this simple: Period

Note on large scale aircraft main landing gears: All large-scale aircraft have one major, basic flaw: The main gear. To eliminate this problem, our gear is factory made from a Carbon/S-glass/ply/aluminum/epoxy matrix and vacuum-bagged. This gear can take abuse. We have bent a steel axle and completely deformed a wheel on a hard landing without any damage to either the fuselage or the gear. The other nice thing is that the gear remained in one piece and it did not separate from the fuselage. Enough said.

Flying qualities:

One flying statement on this beauty has been: "It flies like a glorified Cub"

With its low wing and cubic loading, it takes-off in a scale manner or you can make it "jump" from short fields. Very predictable in turns and excellent wind penetration. Stall speed is ridiculously low with no tendency to tip-stall. Aerobatics are like the real one: A real attention getter. Landings are impressive, especially when you hear the "wind" from the struts and flying wires…

There is a saying: "There is nothing like a bipe" and it’s true. You may have, in the past, put your desire aside to build a bipe…
but, now is the time!
