Available in three sizes: Suitable for use on any gas engine; keeps the crud out of the engine and also reduces the air intake noise of the carburetor. The largest size incorporates an intake velocity stack (trumpet) that reduces air turbulence into the carburetor. They are of a two part design that is easily installed and removed for cleaning. Just wash the foam in gasoline!

Carburetor Trumpets and Air Filters for ZDZ® Engines
Need to get a cleaner air supply (because you fly off of a grass/dirt field) or do you want to provide a more orderly air flow to your engine for more power?

Then these nicely made carburetor intake trumpets and air filters are just what you have been looking for.

  • Easy to mount:
    • remove screws securing the carburetor to engine
    • mount the filter/trumpet to the back of the carburetor using same screws
  • The air filters have a removable filter that is easily washed.
  • The air filter is sized so it does not restrict the airflow.

Note: the intake trumpets can easily be covered with a piece of screen
to prevent ingestion of "stuff" into the engine.
